I think I Set a Record With This One
I read the entire book and made all my posts in 4 days. Please hold your applause. Every night 40-50 pages of reading and a post or two. At least it went way faster than JT and Blackbird Pond. If it had been as bad as those two I don't know how I would have survived. Everything in the ending of the book happened down in those caves. The finding of the money, Tom's heroic accomplishment, and Joe's grusome end. Bear with me on the spelling. The way Joe died I would wish on no one. Eating candles and bats in an attempt to survive? No thank you. I don't see how the candles could keep you going though. I don't think they have anything healthy in them. The second I read tabout the doors in the cave I thought "this is not going to be pretty" and it wasn't. To say the least. What really baffled me was how much money Tom ended up with. $12,000 back then (I'm guessing) would be around a couple hundred thousand today. That's a pretty good wad of cash for a kid. Think of all the dead cats he could buy!!! Lots of fresh ones still under the effects of Rigormortis. I think that's how you spell it. Why is no one commenting on my blogs? Please tell me!
